Each year our sixth grade students participate in an "It's Academic Super Bowl," a competition of sorts setup to help review material that they have learned to date. One of the outcomes of this tradition is predicting who the winner of the upcoming Super Bowl will be.

The Westfield Pyramid has named Cub Run's Carol Ann Timpson as Outstanding Professional Employee of the Year. Her name will now be submitted at the county level where she will be considered for FCPS Outstanding Employee of the Year.

The first team of sixth grade students at Cub Run Elementary School have taken over Cubby Nation news. With a lot of new equipment to work with, there is quite a bit for them to learn.

During the school year, third grade students in FCPS learn about themes of change. At Cub Run, students are using gardening as a way to observe changes first hand!
